Old Airplanes

Bob and Ileen like OLD AIRPLANES...  We have a few and we love to attend fly-ins where people with OLD AIRPLANES gather.  We often attend the Midwest Antique Aircraft Club fly-in at Brodhead Wisconsin, and the Antique Airpower Association Fly-In at Blakesburg Iowa.  We also hope to get to a few Marginal Aviation activities this summer.

Bob has been involved in the restoration of a number of antique airplanes, and we own and restored and fly our 1939 Fairchild 24 K.  We also own and fly our 1940 Taylorcraft BL-65 which was mostly restored by Chuck Larson, formerly of the EAA.  We are currently restoring a 1945  Taylorcraft BC-12D.
