Welcome to the home of Bob & Ileen's Airplanes and Engines and Other Stuff
You will find some pictures of our 1939 Fairchild 24 K (NC-18681) and some pictures of our 1940 Taylorcraft BL-65. We also have some pictures of our Early Days Gas Engines. Our Fairchild was flown off the East coast with the U.S.Coastal Patrol (which later became the Civil Air Patrol), searching for enemy submarines. We have pictures other submarine chasers of 1939 and 1941. We have also included a story of our Fairchild. We hope you enjoy what you see.
