Bob and Ileen recently purchased this 1940 Taylorcraft BL-65 from Chuck and Diane Larsen of Oshkosh WI.  It is a blast.  Bob and Ileen have flown it all over the area in that first two months.  Dozens of people have ridden in it, and they are all very impressed.  We think that it is the most fun that can be had for less than four gallons per hour.  After flying the Fairchild for ten years, we have had to learn to carry less 'stuff' in the airplane, and we are meeting the challenge.

Here is the Taylorcraft at Voyager Village Resort, for lunch with Dennis in the L-4 and John in the J-3.

The Taylorcraft surrounded by 2 J-3 Cubs and 2 J-5 Cubs and an L-4, with an ultralight overhead.  This was an impromptu gathering at a lake North of Stillwater.

Here are the proud new owners of NC-24396.
