Marit (16 yr) has produced many outstanding foals as our broodmare bred to Lee and Kaspar. Three of her sons (out of two stallions) stood as stallions and were highly evaluated. Most of her get have been big horses standing just under or at 15 HH. She is a beautiful, quiet mare who has been trail ridden and driven in team and a four horse hitch. She stands a good 14-3 HH.

MARIT is not in foal this year, so will not be for sale until 2005

6 yr old mare bred to Valea's Lee. This is an outstanding mare who produced a beautiful filly and colt. She is a half sister to Gromar's Rodrik, our junior stallion. We have decided to cut our herd down due to both of us retiring so she will be offered for sale. She stands 14-1 HH and is of medium build. She is quite athletic like her brother. This is a bloodline that is not well known because her parents spent most of their lives in Canada. She has been trail ridden the last two years. $5000 SOLD

18 yr old mare in foal to Valea's Lee for 2004. Vena has thrown three grey foals with Lee. One is standing as a stallion in WI and evaluated well, one was sold as a gelding (but was of stallion quality), and the other was a mare. They were beautiful greys with black legs and faces - very outstanding coloring. She would probably produce greys with a grey stallion. She is sound, correct, and does not look her age. She stands 14-1 HH but has consistently thrown large foals with Lee. Her two year old son stands nearly 15 HH. It is hard for me to part with this mare, but we are reducing our herd so she is on the list. $5000 SOLD

 Gyllen Aften (Sylvie by Claylee's Kaspar)

Gyllen is an eight year old mare that stands 14HH. She has had six months professional riding training, and has a lovely extended trot and beautiful movement. Her nature is friendly and curious, but she needs an experienced handler as she can be assertive. She could be an excellent broodmare, and has been the babysitter to our young stock.

Xenny's Salle (Xenophon x Alf)

Salle: 5 yr old mare who is trained to ride. Salle is about 14 HH, medium built and has a very sweet disposition. She is riding well, is very calm and has been easy to train. This is an outstanding yearling who will mature to near 15 HH. He is very beautiful with a chiseled head. This is an outstanding cross which has produced many stallion prospects, two of which stood with blue evaluations. Sierrek could have been left a stallion, but was gelded last fall. His brother, Draugen is a great jumper. Sierrek has nice movement, is quiet and very elegant. He is priced very reasonably at $2500

Lars is a huge bodied horse weighing about 1500 lbs. He is 15-1 HH and is not a show quality horse, but loves to pull and is very up in harness. He has been teamed with other geldings on the farm. He also rides very well. His only problem is that he does not like to go alone, so he would not make a cart horse. He has a great personality and is a lot of fun. 11 years old and priced at $4000

This 9 yr old is another big gelding just under 15 HH sired by Lee. His barn name is "Scooter". He has been driven single and double (with Ulrick and Lars), and he rides very well. He has the great personality of the other Lee sons. His coloring is more golden like his sire. Priced at $5000

 North Coast's Sylvan Rune ( Sylvie x Valea's Lee)

Rune is a six year old large type gelding; son of Valea's Lee and Sylvie (Grabb). He stands an honest 15HH and weighs around 1300#. He has had six months of professional riding training; is well started under saddle and has exceptional ground manners. He has good lateral movements such as turning on the haunches, forehand and sidepassing; and can pick up leads well. He has been on many trailrides, overnight camping (ties well all night), is used to clippers, vacuums, and stands well for the farrier. He has been trained with natural horsemanship methods and can be worked free in the roundpen or arena. Rune would be a good horse for an intermediate rider to finish how they choose; or he could be an awesome draft horse. He would team well with Gustav.
