The BC-348-R Receiver

This receiver was given to me to use by a close friend before I was licensed.  It was a lot of fun to get it running and to use it for casual listening.  It sure sounds good on AM.

I added an AC power switch to the front panel and rewired the filaments for 6.3 Volts.

I removed the dynamotor and installed a power transformer in its place.  Also, the audio output transformer had leaked tar all over the inside so there was a lot of cleaning and the audio transformer was replaced.

Replaced a few bad capacitors and burnt resistors and it sounds good.
