EBI was awarded a subcontract from H. Linden & Sons for the installation, by drilling, of a 14-inch HDPE
DIPS fprce main and a 8-inch HDPE DIPS force main as part of the Joint Waste Disposal Force Main Project in Elgin,
Illinois. EBI completed the installation of a toal of 26,000 feet of pipe in approximately 35 days using one crew.
To Minimize disturbance to the surface EBI elected to pull in the 14-inch and the 8-inch together. The average
length of the pulls were approximately 1,000 feet.
