Duluth Superior Erection was low bidder for the Reconstruction of Town Hall Road. The contract amount of $108,968.40  was approved by St. Louis County Board on August 14, 2001. Construction began last month and completion is anticipated by the end of September. The Department of Natural Resources is funding the project and doing the actual work on the lake portion of the access. 


     A committee of the Pike Lake Association has been formed to work cooperatively with the Canosia Town Board to “maximize and provide order to the new, improved Town Hall Road and Pike Lake public boat landing. Brian Daugherty is chair of the committee.

The goals  are to:
 

  • Maintain a proactive position on exotic species

  • Improve safety standard for the new Town Road

  • Establish hours of operation for the boat launch

  • Establish long term monitoring process

  • Establish some sort of toilet program

Improve the existing garbage program
