Other Links Town Board What's New Representatives from the Proctor School District approached the Canosia Town Board at its July Regular Meeting to discuss the possibility of an “Early Childhood Center” being built in the Township. The goal of the school district is to lease a building that the Township would own. The Township would be the legal entity for financing and constructing the building, but the cost would be paid by the school district over time through lease payments.
The building could either be located on Township property or school property that would be deeded to the Township. Building uses were discussed with the Board, including a multi-purpose room, which could also be used by the Township. A consultant is working with the school district and will meet with the Board at a future meeting. Please contact Township supervisors with any comments you have regarding this project or possible uses for a multi-purpose room.
