Rumour had it this album was to consist entirely of original Gamble/Huff compositions (they're the team behind Jerry Butler among others). But at least two numbers have been heard before.

Dusty does a great version of Butler's "Lost" - complete with a rhythm section, unique to Memphis studios. [NOTE: The album was actually recorded in Philadelphia].

Shame there are no sleeve notes and only ten songs, but they're all exceptional. Listen to "Never Love Again" and "Let's Get Together Soon" to hear Dusty as she should be heard. Listen also to the first-class orchestration on "Star Of My Show," and of course, "Brand New Me" - the sure-fire hit that never was.

This is a first-class LP - beautiful arrangements and production, with Dusty at last singing those songs she should have found years ago.
