| Greetings and welcome to my, Lance's, website. I say that knowing full well that the chance that someone besides me is actaully
looking at this site is pretty remote. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way. The site is based out of the great state
of Minnesota, which explains all of the photos of Florida. Mainly it gives me a place to do some JavaScript and put up a few digital photos.
The photos are overwhelmingly taken in Panama City Beach, FL because that's when I usually take my digital camera out of the drawer and use it, the other fifty weeks of the year it hibernates. When you see this, not Cannon Falls in particular, but the leaves falling from the trees it's time to start thinking of going to Florida. The site is cross browser compatible for the later versions of IE and Netscape, for the most part. Giving me a place to dig into those fun cross
browser compatibility issues since it looks like Netscape is hanging around. A special thanks to Joel Anderson for his expert consultation
on the puzzles part. You can catch his technically superior website at SonOfSofaman.com. He has server side
resources so he can do a lot more things. Here its just client side stuff.
Finally, I've replaced the telecomm info with some more relevant material. That being temperature comparisons between Minneapolis, MN and Panama City Beach, FL for the winter months. Not that there is any suspense in the outcome of the results just some more info to put up using XML and XSL. The next bit of moldy content that needs to be updated is the browser compatibility paragraph above as I need to look into issues with some of the newer browser versions. However, seeing as that is about as fun as ... insert your punch line here. I'll leave that for another time. |
